GRAND RAPIDS SC JOINS UPSL FOR FALL 2024 SEASON

August 2024 - We are thrilled to announce that Grand Rapids SC has officially been accepted into the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) for the upcoming Fall 2024 season.

This marks a significant milestone for our club as we join the UPSL Great Lakes East Conference, bringing competitive soccer back to the heart of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Our team has been assembled to ensure we not only compete but excel in this new venture. Our roster boasts a mix of high-quality talent, including players from across the region, some with international experience, and many who have previously played at the professional and collegiate levels. These athletes aren't just players; several are also coaches at various youth clubs around the area, contributing to the growth of soccer at the grassroots level.

We are particularly excited to introduce our new head coach, Edis Maric. Coach Maric brings a wealth of experience from his time with West Michigan Bearings in the Midwest Premier League from 2020 to 2021, and more recently with PASS FC PRO in the UPSL from 2022 to 2023. His expertise, leadership, and passion for the game are exactly what we need to forge a successful path in this competitive league.

Joining the UPSL is not just about playing games; it's about building a community around soccer, fostering local talent, and providing an avenue for players to continue their soccer careers. We look forward to seeing our players, coaches, and fans come together to make this season memorable.
